In 2007 I started a blog called "pile". I liked this name because a blog is kind of like a pile. After adding a few entries, I stopped, forgot, and eventually deleted it. I go through waves of feeling content and depression just like most people. Somewhere between these two states is where ideas come to me. The only other time is when I'm intoxicated and anytime between 1 am and 6 am. Maybe the really good ideas only come at night. I'm starting this blog to write down what I'm thinking and have access to it from anywhere, without having to carry a notebook. It's not a notebook replacement, but in so many ways it's better. Judging by the number of people who visit sandbox, I will be the only person who will actually read these.
